KSM Candle Co.
Shavise Glascoe
I’ve been a fan of candles for as long as I can remember. I find candles to be soothing and a key element in creating the perfect ambiance for a space. With that being said, I keep a variety of different candles around, some scented and some not.
I first came across KSM Candle Co (or Knits, Soy and Metal) a few years ago at a local event. I purchased a few tea lights to give it a try and not only was I impressed with the fact that they are soy candles, but the scents were amazing. From that point on, KSM candles have been my go to when I’m feeling fancy, which is more often than I want to admit lol.
My obsession with quality candles is how I came to know KSM, but I also fell in love with their knits (I have a large scarf that’s waiting to come out this winter), candle making workshops and other goods. In fact, Letta’s virtual candle making workshops and kits were a godsend during the initial phases of COVID. Not only was I able to do an activity that I once loved to do in person, but I also got to gift the kits to others in my family. It was a therapeutic experience that kept giving (the candles last a good while). Although I love all of her scents, I’m a huge fan of the East African Amber!
So, if you live in the Baltimore area, I recommend that you visit the shop whether it be for a workshop, candle purchase or both. And if you don’t live in the area, there is this lovely thing called online shopping. Order a candle, a kit or any product that you desire. You’re welcome in advance haha.
